A halfway house is a living facility for individuals who are in the midst of recovering from drug and/or alcohol addiction, in hopes that they can readjust to life in an abstinent manner and learn how to live out a positive and drug free life. A halfway house provides solutions to offer a strong system of support and reassurance so that the individual in Parlier will be able to build the confidence and obtain the knowledge and tools which will make it possible to make it outside of rehab without having to use alcohol or drugs as a crutch.
