Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehab facility which is meant to treat substance abuse problems and mental health disorders which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in rehab takes part in a number of rehabilitation activities and techniques during the day and then returns home in the evening.
